JR will be returning to Philly for the last time in less than two weeks. Unless of course Philly and San Jose face off in the finals. Most people thought that was no shot of this ever happening. Roenick a fan fav while in Philly, was ousted the season after the lockout to make room for Peter Forsberg. While the Flyers had huge problems (out in the first round, and worst season ever during the Foppa era) JR had it worse. Fans and teamates turned on JR in LA, and so did the coach, he was pissed his body wasn't what it was. It didn't help that he came to training camp out of shape. The year after that he returned to PHoenix, where he played before Philly. Things got worse there, and he became a joke. ESPN.com had article slamming his poor play, and his fall out with "The Great One". All Flyers fans and JR fans should read this article though. How Roenick has turned it around after hitting rock bottom. Now a member of the Sharks, JR has a new lease on life. Although, he wont win any scoring race (he is one point shy of 20), he does have 5 game winning goals, and is making the best of what is likely his final cup run. Can't wait to welcome JR back to philly in a few weeks, price and I will be at the game!
