"Shorebound Tucker"

I am off to the shore now, till at least Weds. I am going to try to go to the internet cafe in Sea Isle at on point in order to update the blog. But, if not I will be back on by the middle of the week. Peace out!

"You Tube Alert"

I would have to say that the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother is the most under-rated comedy on tv right now. The show which has a bit of a strange title, but that is the point of the show. The show is about a guy telling his children about, how well how he met their mother. So, the show is basically a flashback too our current year. The show covers all the pros and cons of being single. Like going to clubs when you can't hear anyone or wasting time when you on the wrong girl. The show stars an unknown in the lead and has the girl from American Pie and Buffy, it also stars "Doogie Howser" going against time in a very funny role. Anyway, pretty much the entire show is on YOUTUBE for free right now. So just type it in and sort through the epsiodes which are all labeled by number, 22 in all. You can suit up and meet up with Korean Elvis, and not-Moby. Now waiting to download or anything, just watch the realtively short shows in 3parts. I think each show is only like 21 mins. They have been up for a week, and I am shocked CBS hasn't pulled it yet, since the DVD of the first season comes out in the fall.

"Sunshine Days"

Finally after endless miserable rain, darkness and cold winds the sun will return by at the latest noon today. Highs will be back around normal at the low 80's. My god this weather has been awful lately. Just soak you to the bone wet. Feels like mid-fall tonight with lows in the 50s.

Enjoy the next few days, because next week might be poopy again. If Tropicial Storm Florence does hit the US, it is going to spare the gulf and go up the east coast. I really think it will stay off the coast though, and don't think we need to worry, but who knows.

Okay, also I just want to make this clear. I didn't get my information from Pat Robertson and I am not writing this while I wait tables at some steakhouse.

Also, despite my increase in strange readers as far as I know there have been no escapes from Ancora.

"Split Decision"

Well because of the miserable weather the first part of this holiday weekend we had two back to back double headers for the fighting Phils. The Phils are still very much in the race for the wild card, but as far as getting it done things could have gone better this weekend. I would have liked to have seen them taken 3 out of 4. At this point they basically need to take 3 out of 4 for ever series they play in. However the series was split at 2 games a team.

The 4 games series played in roughly 48 hours was not without it's highlights. Including Chase hitting two homer runs in the one game, and Ryan Howard breaking the Phillies Single Season homerun record even more wide open with 3 homers in the first Sunday game.

The Phillies have done a pretty good job of chipping away at other teams in the standing, but they need to pull ahead of the heard. They have yet to pull all the way into first place. Time is simply running out on the season. It will basically be a game of musical chairs with about 4 different ball clubs for the wildcard playoff spot.

At any rate. We are truly lucky to have a guy like Ryan Howard playing for our team. One of the best athletes to come into city in a very long time.

Does anyone actually think the Phillies are going to make it to the playoffs? Or is this just too little too late?
