People are already comparing him to River Pheonix and James Dean. Dying at the young age of 28, he is likely to become a legend now. Do a google image of his name to see some cool Joker pictures, but of course now the movie will have a dark cloud around it. Don't know all the details of his death, but I am cutting and pasting something from IMBD. I wonder if they will take it down sometime soon, so I am posting it.

I think his death is unfortuniate. The media is going berserk trying to link this to some kind of drug problem. I choose not to pay attention to any of the mainstream crap and send my thoughts out to his family. Ed
James Dean? River Phoenix? Heath Ledger? These were actors. Just actors. It is unfortunate they all died so young, but at least 2 out of those three died at their own hands. I find it difficult to generate much sympathy for them. Their families, yes. Them, no.
We have yet to find out the specific circumstances surrounding Ledger's death, but all evidence already points to him being highly unstable. Spending a month alone in a hotel room to "research his character"? That's psychotic. Cesar Romero lived to age 86. Jack Nicholson is still kicking at age 70. Any insomnia or other related problems were self-generated. He needed therapy, not six different prescription meds.
I feel for his family and friends, and certainly his daughter. [TL]
Oh and by the way Mary Hart of Entertainent Tonight killed him to get ratings. She also murdered Anna Nicole Smith. Lohan better be on the lookout. Ed
