Back on December 5th this what I said:The Stealers I think will actually be up rooted by New England and the Eagles can take them. In fact I will predicit this far in advance that the Eagles will win the Superbowl over New England by two touchdowns. I still haven't changed my tune. I am not the least bit worried about the game. It is there year. New England won't know what hit them. Calling it again Eagles by two touchdowns.

Eh, I wasn't the one throwing passes to the wrong people.
Anyway, look on the bright side. When the sixers and the Flyers (the played hockey in a now defunct league called the NHL) "fell short" you knew it was now or never for that team.
This Eagles team however, will if anything be even better next year. Could very well be the same two teams in the Superbowl.
The Eagles are the only ticket right now the Sixers suck, and the Phillies should be better this year but won't win the World Series or anything.
Can we count the Soul at the Flyers replacement yet? Or is it too soon?
Word to the wise. Post something. Fast. As long as this post is the top post on the main page, every time I click over here I think "My God, what an idiot!" It's good that you stand by your prediction even when you were so woefully mistaken. But honestly, it was a stupid prediction. Predicting the Eagles to win would have been gutsy, but not stupid. Predicting a win by two touchdowns was stupid, as I tried to tell you before.
So bury this monument to football ignorance as soon as you possibly can.
