"Summer Flood-Gates"

Well despite May feeling like a wasteland of dampness and below normal tempeatures, Summer has arrived. Okay, not offically by the calendar, but lets face it Summer for the most part starts Memorial Day weekend. Not to mention May is usually a fairly hot month.

Well the weather has offically broken and highs in the 90s and the upper 80s are upon us all week. No turning back now.

So, yeah Sunday was really the first day that "felt" like a summer day. I am sure most people like me have certain CDS the like to break out during such weather.

Great summer bands I find to be are Weezer, Travis and Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers. It doesn't get much better than hearing "In to the Great Wide Open" while heading down to the shore.

I am sure everyone else has certain CDS are bands they have to hear on hot summer days. For the record the best summer Petty CD is Wildflowers, and I just crank up my Live Weezer CD from 5 years ago.

Enjoy the heat readers. Tomorrow, we will hit 90 again. If we hit 90 again Weds, if offically a heatwave. Its highly, doubtful but it could be our first of the year. Check it out.

I do not know about everybody else but the absolute best CD to listen to while driving in the mountains in the summer is Petty. It definitely brings back some great memories. Right, Drew?

What a fucking nightmare. It got so bad that it a Dr. Who audio CD was unanimously voted on instead of listening to more Petty.

Thats really damn bad.

Also, who was driving when it only took us 30 minutes to get through the mountains? THIS GUY MOTHERFUCKER
