"Top 5 Robert De Niro Flicks"

Well trust me. Just trust me. I had some really witty and important stuff to write about. HOwever, its 11 pm and my eyes are all heavy. As any blog writer will tell you there is a difference between having the blog in your head and actually writing it.

Well tonight I watched Mean Streets for the first time and it was pretty cool. Some slow parts kind of Diner meets Good Fellas.

So why not rank De Niro flicks, and don't be lame and say I LIKE THEM ALL!

Also, where is Lima Beanz?

Here is my list. Keep in mind I never saw The Godfather Part II, which pretty much means all my movie nerd friends should hit me in the balls. Heres my list.

1. Goodfellas 2. Casino 3. A Bronx Tale 4. Raging BUll 5. Mean Streets. Also he hasn't made a good movie (aside from Meet the Parents) since 1997's Wag the Dog. I never saw Brazil and only saw the first part of the Deer Hunter (I asume every thing worked out ). List them.

Keith, where you say that you assume everything worked out in "The Deer Hunter", is that a joke? If it, it's hilarious. If it's not, it's still hilarious, but you don't deserve any of the credit. Seriously, I laughed my ass off when I read that.

Top 5 DeNiro Movies:

1. Taxi Driver
2. Goodfellas
3. The Godfather, Part II
4. The Deer Hunter
5. Heat

My faves, in no particular order:
- Midnight Run
- King of Comedy
- Goodfellas
- Backdraft
- Flawless (though De Niro was easily eclipsed by Philip Seymour Hoffman) [TL]

I posted that as a joke. I saw the first half of the movie off an awful copy taped of Prism some time in the 1980s. I know enough about the film that it gets really ugly and doesnt end happy. Although I am not sure what really happens.

I watched the movie twice and as far as my movie world goes I left those guys playing pool in a smoky bar and everything was fine.

I added Midnight Express to my netflix list, although I think some people really hated that flick.

As far as his worse, I would have to go with 15 Minutes, the Fan, and Rocky and Men of Honor.

Most underated I would say would be be Mad Dog and Glory.

was what caught my attention. I was just out browsing around today looking for information on coolest kid in the us, and happened accross your blog. Although it's not completely related to coolest kid in the us, it certainly made me stop and ponder. Thanks for the great read keith...I'll be back.
