"Ophelia to Hit NC; Move Up Coast"

After a few days of hovering near Florida Hurricane Opheila is finally moving. Now near the Carolinas it is expected to make landfall late this Tuesday.

After hit makes landfall they expect it to veer off to the north east, but the effects of it will be felt in NJ. Wheather it be just high winds and rough surf at the beach, or more remains to be seen.

Either way its going to make its presence known to the garden state.

Track Map

Meanwhile Hurricane Maria and Nate went spinning out into the colder water of the Atlantic, and won't bother anyone.

I hope that a Katrina size hurrican slams into the outer banks sometime next year. Preferably in the middle of August, without warning. Stranding tons of tourists with no supplies or hope for survival. In fact, I hope that it sweeps all ocean-front property out to see. That would be the best vacation ever.
